Welcome to Nunwell Surgery

Nunwell Surgery is a semi rural practice serving approximately 9400 patients scattered across an area of approximately 150 square miles.  There has been a surgery in this location since the late 1800’s.

We aim to provide the highest possible level of health care for our patients.

Extended hours

Nunwell Surgery now runs an extended hours service. These take place on a Monday 6:30 – 8:00 and a Saturday 9:15-11:00 (booked appointments only)

Dispensary phone lines are open from 9.00 am - 11.00 am and 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Dispensary Hatch is closed  between 1:00 - 2.00 pm every day.  If you have an appointment with a GP during this time, please see reception staff and we will dispense your urgent medication for you.

Public Holidays - in an emergency you can get medication from any Pharmacy.



If you are over 18 years old and usually have a flu vaccination at the Surgery, we are holding drop-in clinics.

If you cannot make your allotted day/time, please attend another clinic day.

If you are not sure if you are eligible, ask at reception at the Surgery.

Saturday 26th September
Surnames beginning with the letters A – G:
A – C: 9am-11.30am

D – G: 11.30am-2pm

Saturday 10th October
Surnames beginning with the letters H – N:
H – K: 9am-11.30am

L – N: 11.30am-2pm

Saturday 24th October
Surnames beginning with the letters O – Z:
O – S: 9am-11.30am

T – Z: 11.30am-2pm
